The Coastal Habitat Resources Information System (CHRIS) is a resource centre for Queensland coastal fish habitat, fisheries resources and environmental datasets (layers) developed by the Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries (DPI&F) and other agencies. The integration of these layers in CHRIS facilitates monitoring of the condition and trend of coastal fisheries habitats.
The establishment of CHRIS has been supported by the Fisheries Research and Development Corporation (FRDC).
Interactive Maps allows you to create your own maps using a wide selection layers provided by DPI&F and other agencies.
Metadata provides detailed information about all the layers used in the development of CHRIS.
Commercial Catch Data allows you to query commercial fishing catch data.
Recreational Fishing Data allows you to query recreational fishing catch data.
Acknowledgments contains links to all the organisations who provided assistance in the development of CHRIS.

Send wishes (feature and change requests) to the CHRIS Team. We'll do our best to make them come true.
Send bugs directly to us. We definitely want to hear about any bugs you encounter while using CHRIS.
Thanks!
